Trapdoor Studio – Jon Arvizu

So this weekend Dan was gracious enough to help me move a HEAVY piece of equipment into the shop. Though not very big, this cast iron beauty is going to really step up my letterpress printing capabilities. In the weeks to come i am going to organize a collective project. We will be printing a nice postcard set. Some great designers i know have been interested in participating so it’s time to do some creative printing. Stay tuned kids, and i’ll have the project details…along with some test prints from this LOVELY press for you shortly.

Just wrapped up the poster for the 2009 Flavors of Phoenix event. “Flavors” is a fundraiser for the Arizona Chapter of the American Liver Foundation. This is my 6th year,  and i’m proud to donate my services to such a great cause. SALUT!
