So last night i had a great time learning how to monoprint. Thank you to Joe Ray for showing me (and quite a few other people cause it was packed) techniques and application. Very cool medium. i need to get myself a speedball press for the shop and host some get togethers. Doing this as a group is definitely the way to go. Thanks to Kelly for documenting.

So i just got some posters in from the Flavors of Phoenix event. The next two people to purchase a serigraph or painting from the STORE get a free “Flavors of Phoenix 2010″ poster signed by moi. I only have 2 of these available, but i’ve been getting tons of requests for them. Happy Friday!
P.S. These posters are beautifully lithographed on some very heavy archival felt finish paper. 15″x 24″. Top knotch.

Just wrapped up the poster for the 2010 Flavors of Phoenix event. “Flavors” is a fundraiser for the Arizona Chapter of the American Liver Foundation.
Created in more of a painterly style. I really enjoy the look of these, they feel rich and familiar. visions from the past, yet still contemporary. This style takes a while, but it’s worth it.
Now in my 7th year of participation, and i’m proud to donate my services to such a great cause. C’ EST SI BON!

We have a small product line, New styles will be coming later this spring along with a variety of other products. Women’s sizes will also be available shortly. Fighting Eagle shirts were just printed and they look great.
we used a method called ‘discharge’ printing mixed with water based inks, so the printing is soft to the touch and will wear for the long haul. We also use American Apparel products for our shirts because i’ve found they are consistently the best quality/comfort fit around. CHEERS!

Hello Friends. I NEED YOU!
okay, my press is in desperate need of new rollers and trucks. cost = $400. To reach my goal i am going to propose a collaboration with other designers/artists in need of some biz cards or the like. here are the rules and the cost.
1. I have 10 spots open. They will fill up fast.
2. Cost is $40 per spot, plus your plates and paper cost (for business card it’s approx. $25 for plates and $30 for paper)
3. 1-2 colors/ 1-sided. (if you want to go 2-sided it’s a pain, but contact me and i’ll talk to you about additional specs and pricing mr. fancy pants). * i have most colors, i can’t match pantone, but i’ll mix up something close. i also have silver & gold.
4. Quantity is up to 250 (you think you want more, but you don’t, trust me). if you truly need more we can discuss.
5. You have to be here to help run your job once i get it set up. (this is the collaboration part, hence the low cost, and so you can see how much work goes into this style of printmaking.)
This is a screamin deal on a handmade product AND you get a free lesson, but i love collaboration and i needs my new rollers.
thats about it. attached are some images of my sad doctored trucks and my old rollers. contact me here or via facebook and we’ll start filling spots.

Just finished illustrating this home cutaway for APS. The illustration was dropped into a brochure pointing out 10-12 areas that can help reduce energy consumption and save money. All good things!
